August "Gus" Rodrigue, age 89, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2014. He was a native of Chackbay and a resident of Vacherie. He was retired from Avondale Shipyard as a fitter.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 17, 2014 from 8:00 am until 10:45 am at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Vacherie. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
